Owing to some technical challenges, we wish to indicate that visas will be issued at the port of entry into Malawi.  However, the usual application process will be followed.  Applicants are required to send to the Embassy 2 duly filled in visa application forms, copy of the first page of their passport, 2 passport photos and a flight booking confirmation including e-mail address.  The Embassy will issue an ATTESTATION which will be presented to the airlines au lieu of visa.

Visa applicants should NOT pay their visa application fee to the Embassy as this will have to be paid in Malawi.

The Mission wishes to indicate that this is only a temporary measure.  The general public will be informed as soon as the Mission resumes issuance of Malawi visa.  Any inconveniences caused is sincerely regretted.
